Greetings, everyone.
Marina and I were invited to visit John and Marina Brier in Pensacola. Marina Brier is from the same hometown as my wife, the town of Kherson, in Ukraine. Pensacola is on the western tip of Florida, near Mobile, Alabama. It takes about 10 hours to drive there. We arrived June 14, 2003.
When we arrive, Marina Capps wants to go to the beach, right away!
So did I! We decide to go to Perdido Key, which is just five miles from
John & Marina's house.

Almost every day we had good waves to swim with and to ride - One day,
they were fantastic, 4-foot, 5-foot, and even a few 6-foot waves! It
was so much fun, these were the best kind of waves - the ones that can
pummel you and twist you all around while you ride them, and smash you
right into the sand and there's nothing you can do about it - but also
the ones that give you the longest and fastest rides, and you are shouting
and laughing at the end of each ride :-)
Later we head back to the Brier's house, which is very nice. Here's
the gate to their home.
