Millions of years ago, this entire mountain we have been on was under water. Here's where the water had worn the rocks away. Even at the very top of the mountain, you could see water-worn rocks.

Next we are supposed to go to eat at a restaurant, then to an Islamic castle which is at the bottom of the mountain. But, the castle is closing soon, so we go there first, even though I was starving from all the exercise! Luckily, we have about 2 minutes before entering the castle, and I get some potato chip and a soft drink call Kvas. Both are strange - the potato chips are just like American chips only they are mushroom flavored. The drink is like non-alcaholic dark beer, it's fizzy, sort of has a beery taste, they make it from bread, and is very popular with Soviets.

I didn't take photos at the Islamic castle (not allowed).

Later, back in Yalta, we check on this unusual restaurant that is like a viking ship.

It's closed for repairs, but it opens in a couple of days and we go there then. They had a night-club show.
