Steve Travels to Kherson and Yalta in Ukraine
to Meet Marina Chedakina for the First Time

We went to the Bazaar, where many things are sold. This is a rather large part of the town, many people sell many things, it is very crowded, very close, very large, and I only took a couple of photos - it is much much larger than what you see here. Whenever you or I might go to the mall, or the supermarket, or the store, then Marina would go to the Bazaar. Almost all of this was outside. I asked Marina "What do they do if it rains?" and she said, "No problem, they put a sheet of plastic over their goods and wait for the rain to stop, or the continue to sell."

We went to one store that was inside - kind of like a department store.

We went to the park at the Dneiper River, which is a very large river. Much larger than the Tennessee River. Much larger. Much, Much Larger. The Dnieper River leads to the Black Sea, and that is why they can build many ships in Kherson - they even build many Ocean Liners, the largest ones.

Here is Marina and myself again. Somehow, I seem to have gotten lipstick all over my face! How did that happen?
