Steve and Marina Capps
Visit Larua and Steve Morris in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, February 2003

One of the things we did on this trip was to go to the Opryland Hotel. This is the largest hotel in the world. It is huge, It has a tremendous glass dome that covers several indoor tropical forest areas. Inside the tropical forests are restaurants, walking paths, shops, and more. It is so big. There's a lake with waterfalls, and you can take boat trips that travel the lake. The only way to really understand it is to visit it.

Here is Marina and me, and you can see a very small, tiny little bit of the enormous glass dome.

Marina is so beautiful, and such a happy person. I am so glad I found her and married her.

We walked around the hotel for a few hours and had lunch at a great restaurant inside. There were trees and waterfalls and forests all around us the whole time -- and we were inside! It was too cool. One day I want to come to this hotel and stay there for a few days.

Next, we go to the Parthenon. I went there when I was very young, maybe 9 years old or so, I don't remember exactly. The Parthenon is a replica of the Parthenon in Greece. It is a huge building, made over 100 years ago for the World's Fair in 1892, or very close to that - I am not sure which year the fair was. In any event, it was over 100 years ago. -- In metric measurements, that's over 100 years ago :-)

Here we are arriving, it was a bit cold, because it is still February, and the wind was really blowing. The building is HUGE, and very impressive. This is not like the memory I had from a child, this is really a monument. I am impressed. Seeing this building is different from photographs.

Here's Marina and Steve Morris (Laura's husband) - he's fun to be around, and so is Laura.
Of course, no one could ever say he is better looking than me, but I can't help that. I was just born that way :-)
